30 MIL clear tarp has better cold crack resistance. Use 30 MIL clear tarp instead of 20 MIL when the area has cold winter cold weather or has higher winds. For example, in New England and Midwest, such as Chicago, Minnesota, Wisconsin, New York, Massachusetts and Maine where winter is cold.
